About Us

ER Browne was founded in 1944 by the late ER “Teddy” Browne. As a result of his charismatic leadership, Teddy would go on to become South Africa’s youngest Senator. His brilliant legal mind inspired and informed each of his five sons, whom consequently all went on to practice law at the family firm. These generations of lawyers have resulted in our long standing legacy.

ER Browne is a niche law firm providing a multitude of legal services. Our offices are situated in the heart of KwaZulu-Natal’s capital – Pietermaritzburg.
